Hello! I am Syed Abidi….
…..and I'm delighted to have this opportunity to share my story with you. I arrived in the United States from Pakistan about 26 years ago after completing my undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering. It was a significant turning point in my life, as I embraced the opportunities this country had to offer. With determination and hard work, I embarked on a journey that has led me to achieve success in my professional career and personal life.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working for multiple Fortune 100 companies on Wall Street, contributing my expertise in various capacities primarily in the field of information systems. Alongside my professional endeavors, I pursued my Master's degree in Information Systems from Kean University of New Jersey, further enhancing my knowledge and skills in this dynamic field.
Coming from a humble background, I deeply appreciate the value of hard work and perseverance. In my roles, I have always strived to empower my peers and team members, using my leadership skills to foster growth and collaboration. I take great pride in seeing those around me succeed and reach their full potential.
Beyond my professional achievements, my personal life is also filled with uncountable blessings. Currently I reside in a small but beautiful town of Onalaska in the State of Wisconsin with my family. I have been happily married for 24 years to my incredible wife and two wonderful boys.
My journey as a coach started during my engineering college, where I discovered a natural inclination towards helping others navigate their career choices and academic pursuits. Although I may not have recognized it at the time, I was already engaging in coaching and consulting activities by providing valuable advice to my younger family members and peers. As I worked in the US for over 20 years in different capacities in the corporate world, I continued to extend my coaching beyond the professional sphere while gaining extensive life experiences myself.
One of my most significant coaching experiences has been supporting my wife, a physician, in her career journey. By acting as her coach and a partner in her medical education and training journey, I was able to play a pivotal role in helping her excel in her profession. Similarly, my dedication to coaching my two sons, elder of whom is currently attending Harvard Medical School for the MD program and the younger attending high school as a freshman, throughout their academic journey has yielded impressive results and furthered my motivation to coach others for their success. I have also been privileged to coach clients from various walks of life including teenagers trying to set academic goals, physicians working out a work life balance, professionals who had challenges finding a purpose in their work, and stay-at-home mothers trying to navigate best strategy to homeschool their kids or trying to utilize their education to the fullest while staying at home.
My experiences of life as a professional, as a husband, and a parent, have strengthened my belief in the power of coaching to unlock individual potential and have inspired me to expand my impact on a broader scale. Motivated by my own experiences and the transformation I have witnessed in others, I am now driven, more than ever, to share my gift to help individuals unleash their full potential in various aspects of life so they can live a happy and purposeful life.
